Health Screenings & COVID-19 Testing Consent
All students, parents, guests, and staff members must take a daily Health Screening in order to enter the school building. This Health Screening should be done at home, before leaving for school, so that students can show that they have completed the screening. The screening results can be shown on a phone or printed out at home to be shown at arrival.
**Beginning December 7th ALL students in grades 1-5 (PreK and Kindergarten students are excluded from testing) who are coming in for hybrid learning need to have submitted a COVID-19 testing consent form. Testing consents can be completed directly online using the link below or families can print out a copy to return to school the week of December 7th.**

Blended/Hybrid & Remote Learning
Blended Learning is an instructional model where students learn in person at AmPark some days and at-home virtually on other days. This model allows for fewer students to be in the building at once so that we can socially distance throughout the building. 100% Remote Instruction is an instructional model where students learn virtually every day. For both Blended and 100% Remote students will experience some synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Synchronous means "live" whether virtual (Zoom) or in person. Asynchronous may be any one or a combination (pre-recording, learning websites, independent work, videos, group work, etc). Parents may choose 100% Remote Learning throughout the year by using the Learning Preference Survey button below. Parent may opt into Blended Learning at specific points throughout the year. The next opportunity will be in November. Technology Support, Password Resets & DIIT Help Desk for Families

Guidance for Students Who Arrive at School on the Wrong Day
AmPark will follow the guidance of the DOE in supporting students and families that come to school for in person learning on a day that the student should be all remote. Per that guidance, no student who is not scheduled for in person learning on a day that they brought to the school building will be able to remain for in person learning. At student arrival, our staff and members of our Building Response Team will work to ensure that any families who bring their student(s) to school on the wrong day are alerted to it before the family departs, so that they can bring their children home. Any student who arrives on the wrong day and a parent/family member does not remain to immediately return home with their child, will wait with AmPark BRT staff in a designated unused classroom space to await pick up by a family member. |
