Good Evening AmPark Families, We are very proud of our 5th graders for absolutely shining at the District 10 Arts Festival this weekend! Josh led our Owls in performing an arrangement of Imagine by the Beatles, that opened the festival and brought down the house. Thank you to Josh and several AmPark super parents who hauled xylophones and musical gear to In-Tech to get our musicians up on stage and shining for all to see. Congratulations also to 5th grade artists Teddie and Abby who had the portraits that they created of one another, under the guidance of our resident Lehman Artist, Crystal Benitez, featured in the visual arts showcase at the Festival. In the words of our District 10 Arts Liaison, "AmPark knocked it out of the park!", and we couldn't be more proud. Next week is Respect for All Week! Below find information for the themed days that students will be engaging in and topics that we'll be discussing in community each morning during our SEL assemblies and breakfast program. Additionally, there is a wonderful resource of Respect for All Week Trainings for Families linked here for your reference as well. Finally, a huge thank you to our AMAZING AmPark Parents Association for another awesome Scholastic Book Fair this week, and for the truly beautiful Sweethearts Dance this evening. DJ Zach is spinning right now to a room full of dancing Owls and their families. We are so grateful to the efforts of our PA in giving our students so many ways to come together in celebration and community. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Project Open Arms
