AmPark's Spring Concert TONIGHT! (& Exciting Events in the Week Ahead)

Hello AmPark Families!

The day we've all been waiting for is here!  Tonight is our big AmPark Spring Concert!  Today's weather looks to be just about perfect for an outdoor evening of music and dancing with all of our fabulous AmPark Owl singers and artists!  As an AP lucky enough to be down the hall, listening as your children practice with Josh, I can tell you, you're in for a true treat tonight because they are so ready and sound absolutely AMAZING!   

Please be reminded of a few important details for tonight:

• The concert will begin promptly at 4:30pm in the PS/MS 95 Yard.
• Seating is picnic style so please bring blankets to sit on.
• We will be outdoors so although the weather is overcast, please dress for comfort and sun safety.
• Owls are asked to wear their AmPark swag (purple T shirts) for their performances!​
• Please be mindful that if you are going to bring lawn chairs, that we will ask you to kindly set up towards the sides of the yard, so as not to block anyone who is blanket-style behind you.

June 6th Remote Learning/Emergency Preparedness Exercise

On June 6th, we will be supporting the city-wide test of Emergency Readiness with Remote Learning by asking all of our students to log in with their teachers from 9:00am-9:25am.  

As June 6th is a student non-attendance day, this is not mandatory, however it will help to test our city-wide systems in the event that we do need to pivot to remote learning.  For this reason, we hope all students will participate.

At 9:00am, students are asked to log in to TEACH HUB to access their Google Classrooms and meet with their teachers for a quick check in activity, until 9:25.  

To Log In to TEACH HUB for the Remote Learning, Emergency Preparedness Exercise for Students:

1. Go to TeachHub: https://teachhub.schools.nyc/
2. Enter your DOE student account email (it ends in @nycstudents.net)
3. Enter your password.
4. Click Sign In.
5. If the username and password entered are correct, you will be signed into the remote learning portal successfully.
6. Click on the Google Classroom icon.
7. Now you are in Google Classroom!

If you have trouble logging in because of an email or password issue, please go to the DOE Student Accounts Page linked here to retrieve your student email and/or reset your password.

Then come to the Family Arts Night next Friday, June 14th here in the AmPark Multi-Purpose Room!  We will be led in an art activity by our resident Lehman Artist Crystal Benitez.  Light refreshments will be provided and all AmPark families and students are welcome to join in the fun!
