Owl Blog Post for June 6th

Good Afternoon AmPark Families,

We hope that this finds you all well on this long weekend for our students.  This Tuesday we had an absolutely AMAZING Career Day!  We want to say a huge thank you to our awesome parent volunteers for sharing of their time, and their professional brilliance with our Owls.  I heard more of our Owls talking about college and careers on Tuesday, than I ever have, and it made this AP's heart so happy.  A big thanks to Ms. Hanade Sarar, for organizing all of this inspiring career-minded magic for our community.  Please see a few shots of our parent presenters at work, below.

They say good things come to those who wait and at AmPark we know that's true because (finally!) our AmPark Spring Concert is this Thursday, June 12th!! Please remember that it will be in the PS/MS 95 Auditorium from 4pm-6pm.  Our AmPark students and families are invited to come through the PS/MS 95 main entrance, just down the block from our own, on Hillman Avenue.       

Also this week, we have our Donuts with Dads & Dad-Figures celebrations on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Please note, as shared by teachers last week, that the 4th and 5th grade celebration will be on Tuesday, rather than Thursday so as not to overlap with our daytime Concert practice.  Thank you for your flexibility and understanding once again and we hope to see you there!

This Saturday, June 14th, will be the AmPark PA and RTS Carnival from 11:00am-2:00pm!  Please see all of the fun-filled details in the flyer below.
