Since 2013!!, WITS has been working together, alongside staff members, parents and caregivers to further lift up health and wellness at AmPark! As WITS continues to grow, and the students we teach grow along with us, it is both a comfort and honor to be able to come back to AmPark year after year. This year we have three new recipes that we will make with students during WITS Labs, our seasonal culinary and nutrition education classes, in November, January and April. We have plans to spend time on adult engagement, holding workshops for the parents and caregivers of the community. Additionally, we continue to have a strong fitness program and our coaches will collaborate with students and educators to facilitate movement and mindfulness breaks in classrooms and PE using our partnership with EXOS.
