Parent Teacher Conferences, Remote Readiness Practice, November Event Calendars and more!

Good Afternoon AmPark families!

Please be reminded that there is no school for students due to Election Day tomorrow.  We hope that all members of our AmPark community will make your voices heard by getting to the polls tomorrow and casting your ballots.  Engaging your young Owls in the democratic process by bringing them along to the polls can be such a powerful experience for them as well.

AmPark's Parent Teacher Conferences 

Pivot to Remote Readiness Exercise on November 6th, 2024
Please reach out to your child's teacher if your child will need to take home an AmPark iPad to participate in the remote readiness practice on Wednesday.  Students will all have a homework assignment in their Google Classrooms to please complete on Wednesday afternoon.  Any loaned devices will need to be returned for regular classroom use on Thursday morning.

Las Escuelas Públicas de la Ciudad de Nueva York (NYCPS) se dedican a garantizar que todos los estudiantes puedan aprender sin interrupciones, incluso durante las interrupciones causadas por los cierres de los edificios. Para lograr este objetivo, queremos asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes y personal estén preparados para un aprendizaje remoto exitoso. NYCPS ha desarrollado un plan de práctica para apoyar y mejorar las escuelas Preparación en caso de que sea necesaria una transición al aprendizaje remoto. El Distrito Escolar Comunitario 10 ha sido seleccionado para participar en esta actividad de preparación tecnológica el miércoles 6 de noviembre de 2024.

¿Qué significa eso para tu hijo?

• Su hijo seguirá asistiendo a la escuela 
• El maestro asignará una tarea a distancia para que los estudiantes la completen en casa. Asegúrese de que su hijo complete la actividad digital en casa en la fecha indicada anteriormente.
• Si su hijo no tiene acceso a un dispositivo personal con acceso a Internet o a un dispositivo proporcionado por NYCPS en casa, asegúrese de comunicarse con su escuela para solicitar un dispositivo.
