Dear Families, Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement this year. We made it! Each and every member of this community, from PK student to grandparent virtual teacher, played a crucial role in this year’s success. We love you, AmPark! Wishing you lots of joy and rest over the next two months. We will see you in September if not before! Congratulations to our 5th grade students who moved up to middle school last night in an amazing virtual ceremony. You will always have a home here! Thank you to all of our students and families who “chalked the walk” for Ina on her last day!
Great news! We have hired a full-time social worker, Josie Illaraza, and an additional full-time guidance counselor, Melissa Valerio, for September to support all of our students and their families. We look forward to introducing you to our newest family members! Over the summer weekly Owls will be on a hiatus. We will share information about next year as it becomes available. Some important things to be on the lookout for are: -Report cards will post in NYCSA accounts on July 5th. -Communication about Virtual Town Hall Coffee Chats on July 18th and August 18th. -Communication about future Open House dates, tentatively set for July 28th and August 25th. -Communication about class assignments, reopening details, and the Back to School Meet and Greet will be shared via email in our Summer Packets on August 23rd. -Grade specific supply lists will be posted to the Owl in early July and again shared with the Summer Packets.
