As a reminder to all hybrid families, and in advance of some in-person events coming this spring, to please set an example for all of our students and the safety we all care deeply about by wearing a mask at pick up and drop off. No child learns more than from their parents and caregivers so please reinforce our safety messaging by wearing your mask in and around the school building. AmPark's BRT (Building Response Team) thanks you! Picture Day is Coming to AmPark! When? May 25th, 26th, 27th Where? In AmPark's Cafeteria space Who? Open to ALL AmPark students and photos will be taken by our own wonderful Mike Driscoll of Legacy Studios (see flyer below) The Details... As we have worked to ensure that this important hallmark of each school year still takes place, many scheduling and safety precautions have been considered. To ensure safety for all we are utilizing our largest of building spaces, the cafeteria. On each day, hybrid and remote cohorts will be scheduled to make socially distanced trips to the space, where they will take their photos with Mike. Students will be able to briefly remove their masks for the photos themselves and then will be instructed to place them back on immediately after the photos are complete. Remote students will be welcomed in through the "Glass Room" entrance at the 95 yard, where all families will have to fill out the NYC DOE Health Screening in order to have their child enter the building for photos. A school staff member will then escort the student in to take their photos and back out to families once the photos are complete. The schedule for groups on each day, is as follows: May 25th - All Cohort B students in PreK-5 + Remote PreK students May 26th - All Cohort A students in PreK-5 + Remote Kindergarten students May 27th - All Remote students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades + Sibling photos Please don't hesitate to reach out to Niomi at [email protected] with questions.
