Career Day (Postponed), 4th Grade Math Field Testing, Mural Ribbon Cutting, RTS Carnival, & Spring Concert

Hope you all had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend!  This week is a short but busy one with several things to lift up here... 

Career Day

AmPark's Career Day has been postponed until June 13th.  We need more volunteers willing to come and share about your fabulous careers!  If you are interested in presenting, please email Ms. Sarar and Bonnie at [email protected] and [email protected] to let us know.  It will be a wonderful event that never fails to inspire our Owls as they think about their future endeavors. 

Field Testing 

AmPark has been selected for Field Testing for the 4th grade math test.  This means that tomorrow, May 29th, for 45 minutes only, we will run a simulation of the state math exam on the computer, as we did for actual testing this year.  Please know that this is entirely unscored, used only to pilot possible questions for next year's math exam, and that we will adhere to all testing accommodations.

Mural Ribbon Cutting

On Friday, families of all students who worked on the 2nd & 3rd floor murals during after school, with Lehman artist, Crystal Benitez and AmPark's own Caitlin and Ashley, are welcomed to come for a ribbon cutting! Please come by, see their gorgeous work and hear from your artists about the murals and their process.  This event will run from 3:45-4:30pm and include light refreshments and a small art project for students and families led by our resident artist herself!  We hope to see you then!
