Good Evening AmPark Families, While it has been a wonderful week of teaching and learning at AmPark, our hearts are heavy with the terrible events happening in the Middle East. Earlier this week, NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks offered curated resources to educators throughout New York City, to assist us all as we strive to create and maintain safe spaces in which our children can ask questions and gain contextual understanding of the evolving conflict. We extend those resources to you, our students' first teachers, in the hopes that if you need them, they may also support you in answering the challenging questions that may arise, as news of this escalating war between Israel and Hamas continues to reach us all. Please never hesitate to reach out to us should you have concerns and feel that your child may need more support. Educational Resources:

As you know, AmPark is continuing our tradition of raising money to support the March of Dimes with our annual WonderWalk. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, October 31st. The students will exit the building at 8:45 through the main entrance, walk around the block, and re-enter the building through our main entrance. You are welcomed and encouraged to line the streets to support them as they share their signs promoting awareness for the March of Dimes! Please use our AmPark Team Page for March of Dimes, March for Babies donations. Back by popular demand this year, will be the addition of our own Pumpkin Blaze at the Hillman Entrance! Our goal is that each class will have several pumpkins to decorate, though last year the dedication and generosity of our PA far exceeded that hope. Please speak with your child’s teacher if you are willing to donate pumpkins for decorating by Monday, October 23rd and thank you! Middle School Admissions Information & Resources
