Good Evening AmPark Families, Hoping that this finds everyone safe and dry on this epically rainy day today. Please know that if ever your family is affected by events such as flooding or anything else, that we are truly here for you in every way that we can be, to provide support and resources. We hope that everyone's homes have weathered this storm well. Please never hesitate to reach out, should there ever be a need. As we welcome the month of October and share the AmPark events calendar here and below, we want to lift up a few highlights as well. Please know that starting this month, we are welcoming families to come in and join us for our grade level Sings with Josh! These Sing days will typically fall on the first week of the month, but this month, to give everyone some lead time, we welcome you to join your children and Josh and friends to sing in the cafeteria just after our breakfast program. For this month, please be welcome to come by at 8:15 for your child's grade bands as follows:
October also begins our AmPark Awareness and Fundraising Campaign for the March of Dimes, March for Babies that goes to support the absolutely essential and profound work of the March of Dimes in funding care and programming for maternal health care and premies. This is a cause that is so near and dear to the hearts of many of our AmPark families. If you would like to support beyond donating by coming in and sharing an experience with March of Dimes, or lending hands to our fundraising efforts, please reach out to Bonnie & Elvira to let us know as we are more than happy to have your help and connection. This effort will culminate in our annual March of Dimes, March for Babies Costume Parade on October 31st, where all students and staff are welcome to dress up and create awareness posters to march around our neighborhood as one. Families are welcomed and encouraged to cheer us on at 8:45AM! Our AmPark team page will be live with links to share next week! AmPark's POPTOBER FUNDRAISER  Dear AmPark Families, Join us in kicking off the school year with a popular fundraiser that we had the last three years, during the height of the pandemic. Double Good is a popcorn pop-up store that offers different favors of deliciousness and is always fresh. Double Good is a virtual fundraiser which is 100% contactless. AmPark will keep 50% of the total amount sold and the popcorn ships directly to the buyer. We are looking for all families to participate!! Please create a Pop-Up Store and sell Double Good gourmet popcorn to your friends, family, co-workers! Prices range from $18-$59. Double Good Gourmet popcorn is award-winning and really delicious! There will be prizes for the top three sellers. The first-place winner will receive a $150 gift card, second place winner a $100.00 gift card, 3rd Place winner a $50.00 gift card and 4th place winner a $25.00 gift card. Our fundraising window begins on October 11, 2023, at 5:00 PM and goes until October 15, 2023, at 5:00 PM. This is a 4-day Fundraiser only! Before the fundraiser begins: 1. Download the Double Good app 2. Enter our Event Code FBCFWH in the app 3. Create your Pop-Up Store The app is available for free on iOS and Android. If you choose not to create a store, that’s ok!! You can help by sending a link to family and friends, to buy popcorn from one of our existing stores OR you can donate the popcorn to first responders! Last year we had 28 pop-up stores which generated $8,540.00 for our school. If we can get more families to participate, the school can make more which will help with funding!
